These terms cover moving services provided by E&E Moving in Jacksonville, Florida. By booking a move with us, you agree to what’s below. They’re written plainly so there are no surprises.
Estimates and Pricing
We provide a written estimate before any work begins, as Florida requires. A flat-rate or binding written quote is the firm price for the scope we agreed on; it changes only if the job changes — added stops, extra items, access we weren’t told about, or a date you ask to move. When that happens, we re-quote in writing before continuing. Hourly work is billed at the rate stated on your estimate for the actual time worked.
Deposits and Cancellation
A $140 deposit reserves your date and is applied to your final total. If you cancel with reasonable notice before your scheduled date, your deposit can be refunded or rescheduled to another open date. Same-day cancellations and no-shows may forfeit the deposit, since the crew and truck were held for you.
Liability and Valuation
Released-value protection of $0.60 per pound per article is included at no extra charge and is the default unless you choose otherwise. Full-value protection is available for an added cost and must be selected before the move. We are not liable for items you pack yourself unless we caused the damage, or for inherent issues like pre-existing wear or unstable particle-board furniture.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Duval County. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
